Acoustic Festival of Britain (30th May – 1st Jun) Uttoxeter Racecourse once again host’s the annual festival which will feature Steve Harley, Fairport Convention, 10cc, The Animals, Emma Stevens, Matt Cardle, Wille and the Bandits, Amsterdam, Moulettes and many more. Americana International Festival (10th – 13th July) Now in its 34th year, this annual Loughborough event is a family friendly mega feast of American music, cars, motorbikes, trucks and RVs. Acts confirmed; The Mod All Stars, Bo Walton, T.Rextasy, Quill, Al Kilvo & Johnny Pat, Alley Cats, Almaboobies, Black Cat Trio, Blue Swamp Southern, Boxcar Kelly & The Railroaders, Caravan Of Wayne, Carmen Ghia And The Hot Rods, Cool Cat Cry, Country Cattin, Dave Luke & Chuck Micallef. Tickets priced at £120.

Barefoot Festival (25th – 28th July) Well known for being a family orientated festival, this years Loughborough festivals see’s a confirmed line-up including DC Fontana, Superevlover and Laurel Canyons weekend tickets priced at £35.00.

Bearded Theory Festival (22nd – 25th May) to feature Peter Hook & The Light, Oysterband, Fishbone, 3 Daft Monkeys, The Membranes, King Prawn, {Anti-Vigilante}, Leatherat, True Deceivers, The Karma Party, Tarantism, Colm Gray, Babyhead, New Groove Formation, Sporadics, Autonomads, Black Star Dub Collective, Boot Hill All Stars, Doghouse Boat Boys and many more. Tickets now on sale, priced £87 with family options available.

Beacons Festival (7th – 10th Aug) Skipton’s Beacons festival is one of the best Yorkshire has to offer with the 2014 line-up yet to be anounced. Early-bird tickets £87.50 + fees, with deposit options available.

Bestival (4th – 7th Sep) The 2014 edition already looks like a cracker, featuring Outkast, Foals, Beck, Chic feat. Nile Rodgers as headliners plus Disclosure, Paloma Faith, Busta Rhymes, Major Lazer, London Grammar, Wild Beasts, Basement Jaxx, Sam Smith, Caribou, CHVRCHES, Laura Mvula, Candi Staton and more.

Bingley Music Live (29th – 31st Aug) back for another year, the 2014 line-up for the annual music festival in Bingley is to be confirmed. Tickets are available now for £40 + fees.

Bloodstock (7th – 10th Aug) returns for 2014 with the first acts announced being: Megadeth, Emperor, Down, Saxon, Carcass, Hatebreed, Children of Bodom, Lacuna Coil, Crowbar, Amon Amarth, Prong, Primordial, Decapitated, Evil Scarecrow, Obituary plus more to be announced. Weekend camping tickets cost £130.

Bushstock Festival (14th Jun) Communion’s annual festival returns to Shepherds Bush venues on Saturday 14th June, featuring the likes of Eaves, Blaenavon, Chloe Howl, Sundara Karma, Jack Garratt, The Felice Brothers and more to be announced. Tickets cost £24.50 + fees.

Calling Festival (28th and 29th Jun) Renamed and relocated for 2014, “Calling Festival” (dropping the previous Hyde Park/ Hard Rock suffix) will take place in Clapham for 2014 and they’ve busted out Aerosmith, Joe Bonamassa, Thunder, Walking Papers and more for the Saturday. Tickets on sale now. Sunday acts to be announced.

Camp Bestival (31st Jul – 3rd Aug) The annual end of July Dorset shindig is back for another year. The line-up for 2014 includes Basement Jaxx, James, De La Soul, Johnny Marr, Charlotte Church, Chas ‘N’ Dave, Denai Moore, Laura Mvula, Nick Mulvey, Peter Hook And The Light, Public Service Broadcasting, Sinéad O’Connor, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Steve Mason, The Cuban Brothers, The Skatalites, The Wedding Present and more. Tickets cost £195 for adult weekend camping.

Coloursfest (31 May) Glasgow annual EDM extravaganza has announced Showtek, Martin Garrix, Markus Schulz, Aly & Fila, Cosmic Gate, Andrew Rayel, Darren Styles, Sneijder, George Bowie, Mallorca Lee, Sparkos and more. Tickets cost £44.50.

Cornbury Festival (4th – 6th Jul) has anounced Hudson Taylor, The Feeling, Suzanne Vega, Arrested Development, Sam Bailey, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Jools Holland plus Melanie C and Marc Almond, Simple Minds, Jon Allen, Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band, Nina Nesbitt, Lissie, {Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes feat. Gary U.S. Bonds}, Georgie Fame plus Guy Barker’s 16 piece Big Band, Scouting for Girls, Luke Friend, Kid Creole and the Coconuts, 10cc, Tomoyasu Hotei, Peatbog Faeries and more.

Cosby Big Love (2nd – 3rd Aug) Cosby Big Love aims to bring to this south Leicestershire village a fantastic day of live music. This years confirmed acts include Formal Warning, Kazabian, Rhett Barrow, Satellite Empire and Ferris. Tickets are now on sale.

Creamfields (22nd – 24th Aug) Back again at the Daresbury estate for a year of EDM madness, early-bird tickets for the 2014 festival are on sale Saturday 30th August at 10am. The 2013 event featured The Prodigy, Avicii, Tiesto, David Guetta, Sebastian Ingrosso, Above & Beyond, Steve Angello and many more… do you want to miss out?

Download (13th – 15th Jun) Is one of the Uk’s largest festivals with some of the worlds biggest acts performing.You can secure 2014 tickets for £10 less than you paid for 2013 ones! Early Bird Weekend tickets with 3-day camping start at £175, with 5-dayers costing £185. The line-up will be announced in due course.

Festival No.6 (4th – 7th Sep) have announced headliners Beck and London Grammar plus Bonobo, Neneh Cherry, Steve Mason, Matha Reeves and the Vandellas, Temples, Jimi Goodwin, James Holden, Los Campesinos!, John Wizards, Cherry Ghost, Alexis Taylor, Julio Bashmore, Danny Krivit, Prosumer and more.

Foxton Locks Festival (21st – 22nd June) After the great success of last year’s festival, the organisers have got the go ahead for Foxton Locks Festival 2014 and planning has already started. More details to be confirmed.

Glastonbudget (23rd-25th May) Europe’s largest tribute music festival now in its 10th year. Acts announced so far include Mercury, Hot Red Chilli Peppers, Guns 2 Roses,The Fillers, Blurb, T Rextasy, Kins of Leon, The Bootleg Beatles, ABBA Revival, One Step Behind and Kazabian. Ticket still available starting from £29.50.

Glastonbury (25th – 29th Jun) back for 2014 with an inevitably massive line-up. Arcade Fire, Dolly Parton, Lily Allen, Disclosure, Blondie and The Black Keys are amongst the 2014 line up announced so far for 2014. Tickets have now sold out but there will be a few more available when they open their ticket resale system.

Global Gathering (25th & 26th Jul) Stratford-upon-Avon’s EDM festival is back for 2014. The line-up is to be announced – 2013 featured Example, Plan B, Katy B, Rudimental, Disclosure, Jamie Jones and many more. Early bird tickets now available.

Green Man Festival (15th – 17th Aug) The Brecon Beacons will be welcoming back this much-celebrated gathering, fresh from being hailed by The Observer as one of the Top 100 UK Brands. Confirmed for 2014 are: Beirut, Kurt Vile, First Aid Kit, Anna Calvi, Neutral Milk Hotel and many more. Tickets available.

Greenwich Music Time (21st – 23rd Aug) Brand new for 2014, the line-up features Goldfrapp (Thursday), Russell Watson plus guest Kerry Ellis and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (Friday) and Jools Holland and his Rhythm ‘n Blues Orchestra on the Saturday with guests Melanie C and Marc Almond. Tickets on sale now, starting from £29.50 (Goldfrapp), £30 (Jools Holland) and £35 (Russell Watson).

Grillstock Festival (7th/ 8th and 28th/ 29th Jun) returns to Bristol (7th/ 8th) and Manchester (28th/ 29th) this summer, with Hayseed Dixie headlining the Sunday nights at both events and Vintage Trouble lined-up for the Manchester event. Early-bird tickets available for a limited time, costing £20 for either weekend (rising to £30 once they’ve gone), with day tickets costing £15/ £12 for Saturday/ Sunday (early bird prices, also).

Handmade (2nd – 4th May) One of the Uk’s smaller more family orientated festivals spread across the Leiceter’s old quarter. The current line up includes; Woahnows, Emperor Yes, Sivu, Charlotte Carpenter, Mahalia, Fred Page, Matt Henshaw, Henry Sharpe, China Rats, Clubs, Pixel Fix and Lovepark, Grace Petrie and the Benefits Culture, Katie Malco, We Three and the Death Rattle, Iliketrains, Shonen Knife, Three Trapped Tigers, The Physics House Band, Early Bird Tickets now on sale £25.00.

Hampton Court Palace Festival (12 – 24th Jun) Back for another, the 2014 line-up boasts Jools Holland and his Rhythm ‘n Blues Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, Jamie Cullum, Rick Astley, Jason Donovan, George Benson and The Beach Boys with more announcements expected. Tickets range from £35 to £70 plus fees.

Hinckley Music Festival (11th – 12th July) After a successful 2013 festival, the organisers have brought this back for another local music extravaganza. Ticktets from £12.50.

Hit the Deck Festival (19th & 20th Apr) Brand New will be joined by Saves the Day, The Blackout, Kids in Glass Houses, a plastic rose, The Action Plan, Verses, People on Vacation, Memphis May Fire, BatsAboutBats, Battle Lines, Brutality Will Prevail, Rat Attack and many more for the 2014 festivals in Nottingham and Bristol, with many more acts to be announced. Ireby Festival (23rd & 24th May) Quick off the mark with tickets for their 2014 event is the annual Cumbrian folk festival, which will feature Eddi Reader, Martyn Joseph, Eliza Gilkyson, Amanda Shires, Flats And Sharps, Blackbeard’s Tea Party, Marc Block and more. Tickets on sale now.

Isle of Wight Festival (12th – 15th Jun) 2014 promises yet another great early summer festival, with Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kings Of Leon, Biffy Clyro, Travis, Suede, Boy George, Ella Eyre, Tom Odell, Clean Bandit, The Specials, John Newman, Calvin Harris, Rudimental, Passenger, The 1975, The Waterboys and many more announced.

Kendal Calling (1st – 3rd Aug) back for another year in 2014 is Cumbria’s Kendal Calling. 2013 was a strong year, with the likes of The 2013 event included headliners Basement Jaxx, Primal Scream, The Charlatans, Public Enemy, Seasick Steve, Johnny Marr and many more. The line-up for 2014 is TBC. In the meantime, limited early-bird tickets are now on sale, costing £115 for the weekend for adults, £60 for teens.

Latitude (17th – 20th Jul) Just announced for Suffolk’s festival is Blur’s Damon Albarn. Also announced are Röyksopp & Robyn, Haim, Two Door Cinema Club, Billy Bragg, Anna Calvi, Willis Earl Beal, Phosphorescent and many more. Tickets are on sale now, priced from £182.50 for Weekend Camping and Family options. The line-up will be announced at a later date.

Laugharne Weekend Festival (4th – 6th Apr) the literary, poetry and music festival returns to staged in Laugharne in Carmarthenshire, boasting Ray Davies, Arthur Smith, David Icke, Pete Wylie, Scritti Politti, Bob Kingdom, Wilko Johnson, Euros Childs, James Yorkston, Phill Jupitus, Luke Wright, Robin Ince, Josie Long, Stuart Maconie and more. Priced from £8 to £12 per event or £75 for the whole weekend.

Leeds Festival (22nd – 24th Aug) Just added to this year’s line-up are headliners Queens of the Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys, Paramore plus Vampire Weekend as well as Macklemore and Ryan Lewis and Nero. All joining Blink-182, The 1975, The Courteeners, Jake Bugg, Metronomy, You Me At Six, SBTRKT, Warpaint, Netsky, Annie Mac, Architects, ISSUES, Pusha T, Krept & Konan, Royal Blood, Hozier and many more.

Leicester Music Festival (25th – 26th July) A new two day music festival to Leicester being held at the Tigers rugby ground. Confirmed acts include Tinie Tempah, The Saturdays, Soul2Soul, Professor Green, Sam Bailey, Katy B and Union J. Tickets priced at £45.00 per day.

Liverpool SoundCity 2014 (1st – 3rd May) has announced Jon Hopkins, Albert Hammond Jr, Action Bronson, The Hold Steady, Jimi Goodwin, Drenge, Mixhell, Royal Blood, The Wytches, Fat White Family, Superfood, San Farmin, Lyla Foy for the live line-up. They will join speakers John Cale, Thurston Moore, Alan McGee, Peter Hooton, John Robb, Dave Haslam and more. Tickets available.

Love Supreme Jazz Festival (4th – 6th Jul) back for its second year, the Lewes-based jazz festival has announced Jamie Cullum, Laura Mvula, Gregory Porter, Soul II Soul, Dave Holland’s Prism, Christian McBride Trio, Snarky Puppy, Curtis Stigers, Courtney Pine, Alice Russell, José James, Derrick Hodge, Hidden Orchestra and many more. Early-bird tickets are now sold out, but standard tickets cost £55 for Saturday or Sunday day tickets or £125 for the whole weekend (Fri – Sun).

Lovebox (18th & 19th Jul) bak at Hackney’s Victoria Park for another weekend of banging tunes, 2014 will feature Chase and Status, MIA, Annie Mac Presents…, ASAP Rocky, Bonobo, Crystal Fighters, Cyril Hahn, David Rodigan, Duke Dumont, Hannah Wants, Horse Meat Disco, Mount Kimbie, Sub Focus, Tensnake, The Horrors, Visionquest and more. Lunar Festival (6th – 8th Jun) is set at the beautiful Umberslade Estate in Warwickshire, just south of Birmingham and is brand new for 2014. The line-up boasts Donovan, British Sea Power, The Polyphonic Spree, Tim Burgess, Temples, The Magic Band, TOY, Crazy World of Arthur Brown, Goodnight Lenin, Lanterns on the Lake, John Renbourn, Wizz Jones, Michael Chapman and many more. You can bet that tickets, costing from £35 – £38 for adult day tickets and £85 for the weekend will soon be snapped-up.

Meltdown Festival (Jun) Back for another year is the Southbank’s annual eclectic festival – with the 2014 edition being curated by UNKLE’s James Lavelle. Full line-up and events to be announced in 2014.

Radstock Festival (29th & 30th Mar) Back for another year and now with Newcastle covered as well as the usual Liverpool. The line-up includes: Funeral for a Friend, Kids in Glass Houses, Yashin, Feed the Rhino, Fearless Vampire Killers, Me vs Hero, Crooks, The Hype Theory and more.

Reading Festival (22nd – 24th Aug) Just added to this year’s line-up are headliners Queens of the Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys, Paramore plus Vampire Weekend as well as Macklemore and Ryan Lewis and Nero. Rebellion Festival (7th – 10th Aug) Returns to Blackpool once again, with enough punk, Oi! and hardcore to keep any fan happy. Just added are Cock Sparrer, The Damned, Ruts DC, Steve Ignorant, 999, Goldblade and TV Smith – joining NOFX, Killing Joke, Stiff Little Fingers, Biohazard, Slaughter and the Dogs, D.O.A., Reagan Youth and many more. Riverside Festival (7th – 8th June) Leicester Riverside Festival is a lively weekend of activities for the whole family. This popular festival offers boat trips, live music, a variety of food stalls from around the world, displays and an exciting choice of activities for all ages, making it a fun packed weekend. Entry is free and pets are also welcome.

Simon Says (27th – 28th July) After a successful 2013 Leicester see’s a return to this city held event. Slam Dunk Festival (24th – 26th May) returns to being a three-date festival for 2014, playing Leeds (Slam Dunk Festival North), Hertfordshire (South) and Wolverhampton (Midlands) plus mini-festivals for Wales and Scotland. The line-up includes All-American Rejects, Mallory Knox, Kids in Glass Houses, We The Kings, Chiodos, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Capdown, Gnarwolves, Jesse James, MC Lars, Ghost Town, Heart Of A Coward, Save Your Breath, Goldfinger, letlive., Bury Tomorrow, The Ghost Inside, Zebrahead, The Devil Wears Prada, Canterbury, I Am the Avalanche, Crown the Empire and more. Wales and Scotland will feature We Are the in Crowd, Hit the Lights, Neck Deep, Decade, Save Your Breath (Wales only)}, Altered Sky (Scotland only) and more.

Sonisphere (4th – 6th Jul) After a year out in 2013, Sonisphere is back with a bang, celebrating “40 years of rock” at Knebworth House. Limp Bizkit}, Anthrax, Dropkick Murphys, The Sisters of Mercy, Alice in Chains, Slayer, Airbourne, Ghost will join headliners Metallica, Iron Maiden and The Prodigy. And as an extra-special treat, Metallica fans will be able to vote for their favourite tracks – effectively building their own set! Limited early-bird tickets are on sale now, costing £205 for weekend camping, £170 for the weekend without camping with other options available.

South West Four (23rd & 24th Aug) takes over Clapham Common over the August bank holiday weekend, with Above & Beyond, Alesso, Paul Kalkbranner, Jamie Jones, Sasha and more for the Saturday. Sunday features Deadmau5, Eric Prydz, Marco Carola, Netsky, Maceo Plex, MK and more on the Sunday. Tickets cost £55 for the Saturday, £52.50 for the Sunday or £102.50 for both days.

Stag and Dagger (4th May) the Glasgow festival will feature Albert Hammond Jr, Arc Iris, Courtney Barnett, The Hold Steady, Lanterns on the Lake, Laurel Halo, Los Campesinos!, Royal Blood and many more across multiple venues. Tickets on sale now, costing £18 for early-birds.

Strawberry Fields Festival: (8th – 10th Aug) This popular Leicestershire festival is back again with a top quality line up for 2014. The Big Feastival (30th & 31st Aug) Once again, Jamie Oliver’s celebration of food and music will return to Alex James’ Oxfordshire Churchill Heath Farm. The 2014 line-up is to be announced. 2013 featured music from Basement Jaxx, KT Tunstall, Rizzle Kicks, The Feeling, Norman Jay and many more. Proceeds to The Jamie Oliver Food Foundation. The Great Escape (8th – 10th May) back with a bang, TGE delivers once more with a line-up boasting Jon Hopkins, Joel Compass, Albert Hammond Jr, Wild Beasts, Kelis, Augustines, Dry the River, Hozier, a plastic rose, Jimi Goodwin, Rae Morris and many more. Limited 3 day saver tickets cost £49.50.

The Northern Lights (5th May) Brand new for 2014 The Northern Lights takes over Digital in Newcastle this May, with Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Nervo, Tommy Trash, Wolfpack, John O’Callaghan, Hannah Wants, Lange, Felix Leiter, Jordan Suckley, Anakyn, Mr Thomas, Menno De Jong, Sneijder, {Robson&Burn} and many more. The Parklife Weekender (7th & 8th Jun) returns to Manchester’s Platt Fields with perhaps the best EDM/ alternative line-up for 2014? Don’t believe us? Victorious Festival (23rd & 24th Aug) back for another year and this time on Southsea’s seafront, the 2014 event will feature Dizzee Rascal, Seasick Steve, The Pigeon Detectives, Shed Seven, Naughty Boy, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Beans On Toast, Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, Swim Deep, Lucy Spraggan, Public Service Broadcasting, Counterfeit Beatles and more. Tickets cost just £15 per day for adults, £6 for kids and free for under-5s.

Wakestock (10th – 13th Jul) the annual Wakeboarding-and-music festival returns to Cardigan Bay for 2014 with a line-up boasting Tom Odell, Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls, John Newman, Clean Bandit, Duke Dumont, Gorgon City, Shy FX + Stamina MC, B. Traits, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Le Youth, Fred V and Grafix, Star Slinger, Goldierocks and many more.

(5th July) Western Park Festival 2014, returns for its third year and will showcase some amazing local emerging bands along with acoustic acts across three stages. Admission £1 for adults and free for children.

Whitwick Music Festival (24th Aug) Held in the grounds of The Man Within Compass, Loughborough Road, Whitwick, Leicestershire. WMF 2014 is a free entry festival which provides acoustic and main stage performances from the very best talent in North West Leicestershire. A full family day out, with plenty of activitys available for children, WMF attracts around 1500 regular people each year and raises thousands of pounds for nominated charity’s through sponsorship from local business, donations and merchandise sales.

Marketed only via Facebook on the Whitwick Music Festival page this is one of Leicetershire’s best kept secrets and certainly one to check out.

Wireless Festival 2014 (4th – 6th Jul) Reverting to two huge stages in both London and Birmingham, the same line-up will play both cities over the same weekend (on different days). Drake, Bruno Mars and Kanye West are the first headlining names out of the hat, with recent additions J. Cole, 2 Chainz, Knife Party, B.o.B, Giorgio Moroder, Foxes joining Ellie Goulding, Pharrell Williams, Iggy Azalea, Outkast, Rudimental, Wiz Khalifa, Azealia Banks and more announced. Tickets are on sale now.

Y Not Festival (1st – 3rd Aug) Matlock’s annual music festival will feature Dizzee Rascal, White Lies, Newton Faulkner, The First, The Fratellis, Nordic Giants, Eliza and the Bear, Night Engine, Itch, Darlia, Flyte , Andrew W.K., The Blackout, Reel Big Fish, Cerebral Ballzy and more for 2014. Tickets cost £84.50 weekend camping tickets or £140 for tickets for both Y Not and Gloucestershire’s 2000 Trees Festivals.

Zoo Project (12th – 14th Sept) Confirmed acts for 2014; Ibiza’s Zoo Project team bring their third festival to Donington Park.
