Beaty Heart Announce their new single ‘Seafood’

After recently playing in Nottingham, Beaty Heart Announce their new single ‘Seafood’.

Taken from their debut album Mixed Blessings (due out June 2) and preceding the start of their world tour with Jungle, South-London trio Beaty Heart are pleased to announce their layered and gloriously vibrant new single, ‘Seafood’, along with an equally multi-coloured, underwater and food-fight based video.

Released on June 16 via Caroline / Nusic Sounds, ‘Seafood’ is the latest cut to be taken from the band’s upcoming album and continues to show their brand of blissful psych-pop and reveal another glimpse into a record that arrives with a tongue-in cheek attitude, pulsating personality and youthful exuberance.

With influences taken from The Beach Boys, Olivia Tremor Control, Lee Scratch Perry and pop music from around the world, Mixed Blessings was recorded during the later end of 2013, with esteemed producer Dave Eringa, and sees the band fulfil their early potential and deliver a record that shows their continuous journey; developing their tropical enfused pop with a more exposed structured sound, whilst retaining their strong percussive backbone and off-kilter left-field ethos.

Amid support coming from the likes of Radio 1’s Huw Stephens, Phil Taggart & Alice Lavine, Rob Da Bank, daytime play from 6Music’s Radcliff & Maconie, Tom Ravenscroft (who made them record of the week) and spins from XFM, as well as scoring a B-list on Amazing Radio Beaty Heart will be joining fellow Londoner’s JUNGLE on the road this summer; having been asked back by the band following a series of shows with them earlier this year.

Arriving just in time for summer Beaty Heart’s debut album Mixed Blessings sees a 2 June release via Nusic Sounds / Caroline, which will be followed by the release of latest single ‘Seafood’ two weeks later on June 16.
