Another Takeover Radio Gig At The O2 Academy

Following on from the successful Takeover Radio reggae extravaganza at the O2 earlier this month, Takeover have put together another exciting line up for their next gig at the O2 Academy on Friday 8th November.

Top of the bill are Leicester band “The Fores” who are relaunching their CD “Movers and Shakers” after a recent revamp.

Takeover Radio presenter Kevin Gaughan said; “it’s another solid line up and Takeover Radio are really excited to host the event.”

In 2012 The Fores were awarded ‘Best Newcomer’ at the prestigious International Independent Charts Awards, with previous winners being urban sensation Dizzee Rascal, The Saturdays and the Arctic Monkeys.

Support comes from the popular Oakham band, Strike Up The Colours who will appear alongside Leicester rap artist Jonezy and the night will also feature Leicester University band The Dirty Future.

While the DJ on the night will be John Sinclair who produces the “Leicester Music Podcast

After winning ‘Best Newcomer’ at the International Independent Charts Awards The Fores have been getting a lot of interest which is sure to add to the excitement and with the mix of Jonezy and Strike Up the Colours as well as a campus band, the O2 event looks to be a memorable night.
